If there was one reason behind offering a 450-hp, off-road rated pickup like the 2017 Ford Raptor, it’s for enabling capable debauchery. But while the outgoing truck did that quite well, many are eager to see just how high the bar has been raised. Absence of a V8 aside (although many will miss the soundtrack), Motor Trend discovered it’s been perched at nigh-unassailable heights.
The eighteen-minute video above does the Raptor the most justice we’ve seen yet, with Motor Trend reviewer Jonny Lieberman and renowned driver Ken Block getting literal air while traversing the California dunes.
