It's true that to be human means to take risk, but taking the risk of not changing oil can be a huge mistake. As oil moves through an engine it collects dirt and particles. As time progresses, the oil is no longer able to efficiently lubricate the engine properly. Another function of motor oil is to protect the engine from heating up too hot. When oil is not changed, a car runs sluggish with a chance of the motor locking up. This is a high risk that will cost you a lot of money. Replacing a motor in a car is very expensive and varies depending upon the type of car you are driving. There are even times when its hard to find a motor and purchasing a new car is the only alternative. Preventing this by changing oil regularly will not only save money but a lot of trouble.
