Including the new hybrid model, the Mach E, the Ford Mustang offers racetrack performance. All the way from the entry-level EcoBoost to the most powerful Shellby GT500, you get a host of performance features that start with a powerful engine. The base model is a four-cylinder turbocharged engine while all other models offer a V8 engine.

These engines mate to a six-speed manual transmission or an exhilarating 10-speed automatic transmission. The latter sports Ford-patented technology that offers optimum ratio progression for more power and a smooth and quick up- and downshift. There are also shift paddles on the steering wheel, a feature that is only common in race cars.

You can adjust the volume of the roar, thanks to the active valve exhaust system. The track roar is the loudest, but you have the Quiet start for mornings. This feature is now available on all engines, and it makes the Mustang feel much more powerful.
